A diversion may be required if your development site currently has a public water main within it. Diverting the mains will allow for site progression/enlargement. Being Fully WIRS accredited allows us to tie in the new main to the existing – if you have any questions our experienced team will gladly help.
Age, suitability, ability, development are all reasons why an existing main may need upgraded. We have extensive knowledge and experience when it comes to water main upgrades. With the ability to carry a project from design to connection to existing mains our team are fully WIRS accredited to carry out these services.
Pipe bursting is a method by which the existing pipe is opened and forced outward by a bursting tool while pulling the new pipe through at the same time. It is a non-invasive and fast method proving ideal for materials such as clay, concrete, plastic, steel or ductile iron. If you have more questions around the process, please contact us!
Slip lining allows for a new smaller diameter pipe to be pulled through an existing main. The trenchless method is generally a cost-effective rehabilitation method to replace existing water mains. If you have more questions around the process please contact us!
